Chub Studio is a Pro Tools recording facility located in Oakland, California.  We specialize in the recording and mixing of all types of music.  A lot of people ask us where we got our name.  The studio is named after our dear departed friend Glenn "Chub" Carrier.  Chub was an integral part of the studio in our early days.  He put a lot of time and effort into helping get us off the ground whether he was lending his expertise and exceptional ear as an engineer, donating the use of some of his top notch gear or just being there to help out however he could.  Chub was extremely motivated and excited about the studio and we couldn't think of a better tribute than to call our facility Chub Studio so his name would live on forever.  He was one the greatest guys we ever met met and we all miss him very much.  Thank you Chub, wherever you are.
